On Sunday, Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister, told Surat textile traders that the Aam Aadmi Party will transform the city into a garment hub. The AAP plans to create thousands of jobs and an export-oriented integrated textile plant.
As part of his campaign to win the Gujarat Assembly elections, AAP’s national convener stated that if elected to power, the AAP government would bring a special law protecting them from cases of fraud in the payment of dues.
His party claimed it would eradicate ”raidraj and fear’. He said that the AAP would make Surat not only the garment hub for Gujarat, but all of India. New integrated textile parks will be established that are completely export-oriented. There will be tax incentives, tax cuts and other services. Basic infrastructure will be provided for the textile units. The electricity rate will also be lower. AAP will ensure that all facilities are available for thousands of job creation and the export of large quantities of goods. Kejriwal said that we will end the harassment and raids by tax inspectors.
He stated that traders worked 24/7 in order to support their families and pay taxes.
Kejriwal promised to end cheating in payment of dues. He claimed that this was a pressing issue. With the Surat people, we will introduce a new law that will provide a path for the country. The minister also offered traders MSME loans and benefits with an increased limit of Rs 25 lakh to 1 crore.
“The Goods and Services Tax rates are causing a lot of problems. This issue will be raised with the Centre. We will implement it by creating a single-window structure to eliminate corruption and reduce the difficulty.
