DeAnna Stowers, a Loma-Linda resident who was employed in the printing business, passed away on October 12, 2023. Her family was by her side. She was 67.

On the 50th birthday of her maternal grandpa, Charles F. Whitaker (Everett Chappell), she was born to Fay Chappell in Pomona. They loved celebrating their birthdays with each other.

She was one of three siblings. She spent most of her childhood and adult life in Inland Empire, and she attended Chaffey High School.

Megan was born in 1980, after she had married Matthew R. Souter. They divorced in 1985. From 1990 until 2001, she was married to Terry G. Stowers.

For 45 years, she worked as a printer with Loma Vista University Printing Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents Everett Chappell, Fay Gorden and Deborah Lawless.

Her only daughter Megan and son-in law Matthew Hopkins, her three grandchildren Jason Brandon Emily Hopkins, as well as her brother Donald Chappell, survive her.

The mausoleum of Bellevue Memorial Park, in Ontario, California will house her along with many other family members.
